Our client, Bronagh, was involved in a distressing road traffic accident and sought our advice in relation to her personal injuries. We secured an early admission of liability and arranged medical-legal assessments to address both her physical and psychological injuries. We also promptly recovered her excess payment.

An initial offer of £8,750 was made by the defence insurers. Based on the Green Book Guidelines and the extent of Bronagh’s injuries, we advised against accepting this offer. We issued Court proceedings and arranged a re-examination with a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Defence solicitors lodged £8,000 with the Court, which we again advised was insufficient. The matter proceeded to hearing, and Bronagh was awarded £27,500, a result that provided fair recognition of her experience and injuries.
